4. The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum – Weston, West Virginia

The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in West Virginia was basically a facility were the mentally ill and socially unwanted would be abandoned and left to die. Once the doors of the Asylum officially shut in 1994, mainly say, the spirits of the former patients remained indoors and to this day haunt the building.
