The new London Taxi has revolutionary changes

The London Taxi, or the Black Cab as it’s also known as, is an iconic figure in not only the English capital, but the motor world as well. Iconic for it’s black exterior, round lights, orange status sign and unique body shape, the London Black cab is recognised internationally. While many of the designs of the Black cab have looked the same since it’s birth in the early 1900s, the most recent design has brought the most significant and revolutionary changes to the Taxi. The historical design has seen it appear in black, with four-doors and a extended roof for a more spacious experience. The brand new Black Cab, more technically known as LEVC TX, is the first plug-in hybrid Taxi the Black Cab generation has seen. It’s kept similarities with previous models, particularly with it’s exterior features such as the round lights, shape and orange sign. The revolutionary changes now mean that London Taxis will be reducing the amount of emissions they let off, and comply with Transport For London’s zero-emission rule for private Taxi hire.
