The 4-star Abbasi Hotel in Esfahan, Iran, is said to be not only the nation’s most beautiful, but the most beautiful in the Middle-east. It was originally built around 300 years ago while under the Safavid dynasty reign of Shah Sultan Husayn. The Abbasi hotel was originally intended to be a pit stop for merchants traveling the ancient Silk Road. It would provided shelter for the traders and also the camels and horses used to help transport their goods. Then during the early 1900s, the hotel was primarily used as a military complex and began to look run down.
