Shiite muslim tattoos in Lebanon

There is a increasing number of Shiite Muslims within Lebanon that are getting tattoos with both religious and other Shiite symbols ever since the civil war in neighbouring Syria broke out, around five years ago. This has caused further divide in the region between Shiites, Sunnis and other religious faiths. The tattoos are made to show a sense of pride, despite the tension within the area.
