Arguably his prized possession from all his cars was the red Lamborghini Miura, that was a special order and delivered privately to his St. Moritz Chalet whilst on a skiing vacation before the Christmas of 1971. This same car would then be purchased by Hollywood star Nicolas Cage at an auction for $490,000. Some of the Shahs other cars, such as Lamborghinis, Porsches and Maseratis still be found in the Nation Car Museum in Tehran, collecting dust while on display. Others, that include low-mileage Rolls Royces, Ferraris and Cadillacs have been sold onto keen car enthusiasts from across the world.
