Mercedes unveil brand new 200mph car

Mercedes-Benz have unveiled the 200mph 4-door sports and family car, the Mercedes-AMG GT, at the 2018 Geneva motor show. It joins a growing trend of cars known as ‘four-door coupes’, meaning they have enough space for 4 passengers and more, however, also the sporty and sleek appearance of a coupe. The Mercedes-AMG GT is set to go on sale later this year at around $152,000 (£110,000) and will be available in a varied range of engine sizes and price ranges. The GT4 will be the most powerful model, producing around 630bhp and reaching speeds of 200mph, making it one of the fastest four doors in the world. The design of the Mercedes-AMG GT will mean that Mercedes can compete with the Porsche Panamera, which is one of the best-selling four-door coupes in the world. The interior includes standard Mercedes luxury and technology, along with a high level of comfort and style.
