Iran Team Melli star Sardar Azmoun was luckily not injured in an accident that happened in Northern Iran. He was said to be a passenger, being driven by his brother-in-law and involved in a vehicle pile-up crash. The 23 year old, who recently played in Iran’s 2018 World Cup finals, was involved in an accident that resulted in damage to the front and rear of his $90,000 Porsche Macan. It is unclear exactly how the incident occurred, although Azmoun seemed in good spirits after the crash, even posing with members of the public who gathered around. The incident occurred in his hometown of Gonbad-e Qabus, which is very north of Iran, close to the Turkmenistan border. Azmoun is back in Iran following his off-season vacation and is set to return to his football club Rubin Kazan for training in August. His Porsche Macan will require quite a lot of body work to replace the front and rear end damage.
