4. Recently visited the Nottingham Forest and Millwall match

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis says he has the coronavirus and is self-isolating as he says he ‘feels good’. Evangelos Marinakis, a Greek businessman, was recently at the Nottingham Forest, Millwall game in Nottingham over the weekend, which could spark a bit of concern for the tens of thousands of fans and players that attended the fixture. The Greek businessman, who also owns Greek side Olympiakos was also at their Europa League tie at Arsenal, North London on February 27. He has now insisted that he is following the advice of doctors regarding self-isolation after contracting coronavirus. Marinakis went on to say that “The recent virus has “visited” me and I felt obliged to let the public know. “I feel good as I take all the necessary measures and I discipline to the doctors’ instructions. I strongly advise all my fellow citizens to do the same. I wish all a quick recovery.” It is said that the owner did not show any symptoms while in the UK, it was only once he returned back to Greece following this weekend where he started to show signs. Football governing bodies are now discussing the next best steps to take in order to prevent any more panic from spreading between the fixtures he was involved in.
