Dubai unveils plans to create floating Venice

Dubai has unveiled a plan for creating a floating replica of Venice, which will be complete with traditional gondola boats, underwater rooms and other authentic attractions in Venice. Images of their stunning plans have been revealed online and it’ll become the world’s first five-start floating resort and destination. The floating attraction will actually be located 4km offshore from Dubai and quotes from the development is that it aims to bring “the charm, serenity and culture of Venice to the tranquil shores of Dubai”.
