Target was initially founded as “Dayton Dry Goods company”, in 1902, in Minneapolis. The retail store has been going strong for the past 115 years providing discount rate items for the whole of the U.S. To this day, Target has under 2,000 stores, with over 340,000 employees and is worth billions.
