In some countries, religious beliefs mean that a majority of the population will donate money to charities, in order to respect the religion. The results overall indicate that 1 in every 3 people will at some point donate to a charity or give money to a stranger as an act of aid. Malaysia is 9th on the list with 62% help a stranger and 58% donate to charity.
