The Chicken sandwich that drove America crazy

A few months ago, Popeyes, a fast-food restaurant chain in America, introduced a new chicken sandwich to their menu. It seemed like quite a sensible and usual move, as Popeyes only really sells chicken on their menu. Though what was to follow was like no one would expect. The new chicken sandwich boasted a deep fried crispy chicken fillet, with mayonnaise and gherkins on the inside, along with a sweet and fluffy brioche bun containing it all. The sandwich had some heat to it as well, paying homage to the deep Southern roots of hot, fried chicken. All seemed well for Popeyes as they trialled their new menu item. However, what was to follow was a complete shock to all. The sandwich went viral overnight, with many taking to Social media to boast about how tasty the new chicken sandwich was. Given that Popeyes is a fast-food chain, the prices are more than affordable, with locations all across the States.
