Prince William spent his Monday wildly celebrating the victory of his boyhood team Aston Villa as they won promotion to England’s Premier-league division. The Duke of Cambridge and British royalty looked like any one of the other 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium in London, as he watched his team play in the playoff final. The game is known as the ‘richest game in the world’ as the winning team earns a £170 million spot in the Premier-league division. Prince William enjoyed every emotion possible as his team took a lead, then suffered a late goal, but did enough to win the game and earn promotion. The member of royalty, as expected, was given a private box for the match and celebrated with friends, family and former Aston Villa striker, John Carew. Prince William can be seen jumping up and down, hugging Carew at the final whistle. Prince William has been a longtime Aston Villa fan, and his cool and collected appearance at Wembley was almost enough to make him go unnoticed, aside from the wild celebrations.
