Love or hate, the new Ioniq 5 is selling fast

Despite it’s futuristic, boxy, and rather unusual looks, the brand new Hyundai Ioniq 5 is selling like hot-cakes. The Korean car manufacturer introduced the Ioniq 5 earlier this year, and there was a great buzz around the car. It’s all-electric, therefore already has people’s attention, but the looks of it have created a love or hate relationship, thus far. The Ioniq 5 range starts from just under £37,000 and rises to around £48,000. Driving range-wise, official figures are up to 240 miles for the 58kWh rear-wheel drive, up to 300 for the 73kWh rear-wheel drive and 287 for the 73kWh four-wheel drive. It certainly does look cool, but how does it compare to the Tesla and other all-electric cars? Possibly still not quite there yet, given it’s so new to the market. Here are some of it’s best shots.
