9. Arri – Founded: 1917 (100 years old)
Founded 100 years ago in Munich, Germany, Arri is the world’s oldest motion picture equipment manufacturer. Arri has lead the industry with some innovative ideas and as recent as 2013 started recording movies in 3D motion. Some of the films using Arri technology include – Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Apocalypse Now and The Revenant.
