$75 a night for world's smallest hotel

This old Volkswagen Beetle was converted into a hotel room for passing guests to stay the night in, in Jordan. The converted hotel room costs $75 (40 Jordanian dinars) and opened in 2011 by Mohammed Al-Malahim, a 64-year-old Jordanian. There is also a small ‘lobby’ nearby which is actually a cave that has also been converted. Within the hotel room, it’s furnished with handmade embroidered sheets along with pillows and fits just about two people. A traditional Jordanian breakfast is prepared and served by Al-Malahim everyday in the ‘lobby’ area. Guests are also welcomed to explore the lobby’s souvenir section.
