3. Porsche 911 – 1988
The Porsche 911 is known as a timeless piece of engineering that still dominates the market, despite being first introduced in the early 1960s. The German sports car manufactured by Porsche is a fast, reliable and very good looking model sold extremely frequently in all corners of the world. The 911 has seen a number of redesigns and new models launched since it’s initial release, however, true to it’s origin, each new model has kept a similar appearance in body shape, performances and market value. In fact, the main features Porsche often improve when releasing a new model of the 911 are expected features such as new technology enhancements and other additions in order to keep up-to-date with the motoring industry. The appearance of the 911 is so distinct, that we decided to look back over the 911 models since the 1960s and how the design of the car has stayed true to it’s roots, after all these decades.
