Rare 'barn find' Ferrari sells for $2mill

The car had been exported to a Japanese dealership in 1971 and used for photography shots in a magazine, before being traded owners and ending up in a barn from 1980 onwards. As soon as the car was found, Ferrari historian Marcel Massini caught the next plane to Japan to identify the car and confirm it was the “one-off” model. The car was left unrestored and sold for $2.17 million at the auction in it’s original ‘barn find’ condition.
